One of these techniques is the post-extraction implants with immediate loading and flapless. This technique is performed when esthetics require it (anterior sector) and bone and gum conditions allow it.
We speak of post-extraction implant when we place the implant immediately after the extraction of the tooth.
Immediate loading means that the same day the implant is placed, provided that it has been inserted with a minimum torque (force), we place the provisional crown or fixed tooth directly screwed to the implant, fulfilling the esthetic function perfectly until a few months have passed until we place the definitive crown.
The concept “without surgery” or flapless technique refers to the fact that there will be practically no bleeding and the use of stitches will not be necessary. Thanks to this technique the patient will not suffer any inflammation or discomfort because there is no detachment of the gum.
